Starting another project,

This one is a quickie (hopefully) to get me back into Modo. For those that are familiar with the Honor Harrington Series of books by David Weber, I've been enamored with the universe he has created and has me absolutely fixated on the military science fiction genre. I also need to push some new content up, working several contractor positions leaves little time to enhance my prowess as much as I really should.

In the back of my current book I'm reading they have some light "Janes Review" schematics of the ships and missiles that are at the forefront of the books and it shed a lot of light in their operation (and reduced some confusion considerably). So this project will consist of me creating a fictional Concept of Operations (CONOPS) of a Mark 16 Missile, a breakdown of its components, operation, and execution. It will be animated and set up like a technical brief put together by an Admiral of the fictional Royal Manticoran Navy. There will be voice-over dialog, logos, graphics and all that jazz at the periphery of the animation showing a complete and well executed "product." I think this would a much more superior demonstration of my skills then say building a space fighter or car or something.

And who knows, maybe Mr. Weber will like it.

Had a wonderful 1st Wedding Anniversary.

Dru and I went to a Mariners game, toured the Piers of Seattle, had soft serve ice cream (I love soft serve), drank
beers and was generally very merry on such an occasion. Later in the afternoon we tagged up with a friend of a friend who's a theater make-up artist that dolled
up my wife considerably. She looked gourgeous and had become even more of a head turner then she already is during dinner at Buca de Beppo, an itialian family style resturant. Then to conclude the evening we had our VIP tickets to "Shine" a trance show featuring DJ's Christopher Lawrence and Matt Darey.

It was a good day.
